[[ Alright, so, here it is. Let us continue. xD ]]
The female allowed a somewhat broken sigh to pass her lips briefly before she again, tossed aside the chocolate colored tresses that invaded her features. “If you’d like an understatement, let’s just say neither my Dad nor his Girlfriend liked me much. Which sort of explains itself, as it’s been nearly a week and I haven’t even seen traces of anyone out to look for me.” Pushing her gaze back up, she still failed look directly to him. “But I’m certainly not out here because I thought I would be missed.”

Matthew's dark eyes narrowed skeptically as her words reached him softly. The boy looked away from her and tilted his head from side to side as he thought quietly to himself. Matt's stare traveled back to the girl and he stared at her hard for another long while. "You need anything? I mean...I'd feel pretty terrible if I just left you here with nothing," he inquired, then explained with a gently tone.

She took a few moments of silence, simply to think. "Well, I could honestly say at this point, that there isn't much I don't need." She nearly winced as she said this, Sovay hated asking help of others, even if it was indirect. Though, she didn’t want to depart, it wasn't an option; simply talking to someone else who actually took the time to notice and speak to her was good enough. She’d been wandering along the streets of Washington for just a little under a week, and it had constantly rained, on and off. The world supplying no shelter, or ability to dry herself from the brief downpour, and as a result, her thoughts already felt hazy enough to understand that she probably, by now, had a low fever raging.

Matt sighed heavily and looked away again as he slipped back into the same thoughts. He didn't exactly want to come off as some random creep, but he didn't want to just take off and forget about the girl. He's always been the caring type. That - and he could relate to the girl quite easily. Matthew took another breath as he swung his head to face her once more. "Ok, look," he finally said as he watched her. "My place is just up the road. The sky's just about ready to open up and I would not be able to shake the guilt if I let you stay out here and get soaked...or worse," he swallowed thickly. "There's a spare guest room that you can stay in...that is, if you do decide to accept," he added in much softer than his previous words.

She was hesitant, possibly just off instinct, but if she really thought about it, she didn’t know how much worse this could really get. “In truth, I can see no further harm.” Though she allowed a long pause to leak in here, “May I ask your name?”

"Only if you tell me yours," he said softly, but smirked just barely. "Matthew...or Matt," he said softly as he watched her carefully for a reaction and an answer.

For the first time, the femme allowed a faint, silhouette of a smile to taint her features while she lifted her head subtly to it's full extent. "Sovay." Stating her own title simply, yet accurately.

"That's a nice name. Very unique," he mused softly. Matt looked up and winced as a clash of thunder hit above them then rolled through the night. He glanced to her once before dropping both hands from the wheel and leaning across the car to the passenger side door. He popped up the single lock swiftly before shifting back into place. "So before that rain comes down, why don't you get in?" he inquired.

Her gaze flickered up to the sky quickly, though her features still remained somewhat soft while she tilted her head once in a single nod. Managing to take a few steps over to the side of his vehicle, she placed a delicate hand on the door simply to allow herself admission. And it surprised her that gradually, only over the last few moments she had warmed up considerably. "Thank you."

Matt simply nodded softly in response as his foot pressed on the pedal and the vehicle moved forward. Within a few minutes, the boy turned the black Mustang into his drive. He sighed softly as he cut the engine and stepped out. A light shiver ran threw the boy's frame as a breeze blew, and he turned on a heel and walked swiftly to the front door. Matthew pulled out his keys, finding the right one, and unlocked the door, letting the two in. Matt wandered around blindly for a moment until he found the light switch--which he flicked to bathe the room in a soft tone of orange. "Make yourself at home, pretty much," he said softly as he shuffled to the kitchen and the fridge there. "Hungry?" he questioned brightly as he looked at her.
