The femme followed close behind silently, her violet eyes adjusting to the newly found florescent lighting. Sovay allowing her movements to flow until she paused only to lean upon the counter top, her gaze set soft on him. "I'm fine. It's not like I left the house without some kind of preparations." Pausing for a few moments while a still, faint smile grazed her delicate features, "I managed to bring a little money along with me to cover minor expenses, such as food. For if I hadn't there's a good chance that'd I'd be dead already."

Matt froze all movements as she spoke and simply stood listening silently. He nodded softly and offered an understanding smile. "Ah, I see," he said with a gentle tone. "That's smart. Clever," he mused and flickered his gaze back to her. The boy stood watching for a moment before shifting lightly to gaze at the simple, glowing numbers of the digital clock upon the microwave. 11:29pm. A soft sigh escaped his lips as his soft gaze traveled back to the girl. "It's getting late," he started softly. "And you're probably exhausted," he added again even softer. "I'll show you to your room." Matt moved almost suddenly and headed down a hall. He paused at one door and pushed it open enough to reveal. "Bathroom," he commented blankly and shrugged in the same way before taking a few more steps. Matthew passed by a single door before coming to another. He turned the knob and entered swiftly, raising a hand to flick on the light. "And for you," he said softly and sanned over the room critically. As his gaze fell upon her again, it softened considerably and the boy offered a smile.

Sovay shrugged lightly, allowing her lips to purse in a subtle manner. "I wouldn't call it clever. Simply common sense." Her smile broadening as she pushed herself back up straight, lacing slender fingers behind her back and she followed him once again, listening somewhat intently. Her vision drinking in the new surroundings while he paused upon a vacant room, "Thank you." Taking another moment, letting silence leak in briefly, "I bet, one day, your kindness will get the best of you." He features remaining soft and lighthearted all the while.

Matthew paused a moment and tilted his head from side to side. He took his bottom lip between his teeth as he raised his thin shoulders in a subtle shrug. "Eh. You're probably right. But until then, I still plan on helping those who deserve a little help," he replied softly - features gentle and honest. Matthew scanned the room once more before sighing softly and raising a slender hand to rub the back of his neck. "Alright, so I'll let you have your own time," he said somewhat shyly and backed out from the room. "If you need anything, don't hesitate to knock," he added in a motioned to the door leading to his room. "I've got trouble sleeping so I'm usually awake anyway," he explained softly and offered a shy smile once more.

A meek smile still managed to reside upon her features, “Well, I suppose that means I deserve it then.” Her gaze soft while she glanced back up to him lightly, though her attention soon shifted back ahead, the femme shifting her weight onto a single foot before she tilted her head in a single, confirming nod. “Okay.” Draping a set of porcelain fingers at the base of her neck, “Goodnight.”

The boy nodded softly and smirked. Matt continued backing to his room until his hand fell upon the cold knob and he leaned against the door casually. "Sleep well," he replied back softly before switching out the hallway light and turning the knob - letting him into his simple room. Matthew changed out of his clothes and into something more comfortable before slipping into his bed. It had been a long day for sure. The boy laid staring at ceiling - thinking hard about Sovay. He wanted to know so much more about her, but didn't want to invade on anything. Matt decided it was best to let her make the calls.

She turned on her heel slowly, curling her fingers around the frame of the door as she pushed it closed. A somewhat contented sigh passing her lips softly as she pulled herself onto the bed. Sovay thumbed though her thick, mahogany tresses absentmindedly as she sat, and before a few a few moments passed, the girl fell back intentionally on the mattress, staring up at the ceiling for a few moments, possibly simply to gather her thoughts.

~~Next Day!
As the morning light slipped through a crack in the single window of the room, Matt stirred lightly. He opened both eyes - only to close them quickly from the brightness of the morning. He scrunched them shut for a moment before slowly peeking each open at a time. The boy sighed and glanced at the clock on his bedside table. 9:17am. Rather early for a Saturday morning, but Matthew has always been an early riser. Matt slipped from the bed and padded to his closet - picking out his normal attire for the day and changing swiftly. The boy opened the door and craned his neck to search around quietly - a habit - before stepping out and shuffling to the kitchen. There, he made himself a mug of coffee and sat at the table with it quietly.

She understood that ever since she fell asleep, her mind would most likely be out longer in a result of sleep deprivation and even though she was unaware of it that was probably what had happened. Though, soon enough her eyelids fluttered open, showing her unearthly, yet beautiful amethyst irises to their full extent once more. And once her pupils adjusted to the light again, she swing her legs over the side of the bed, lifting her supple from back up independently. Daintily, but carefully wandering into the bathroom simply to turn the faucet on and splash water upon her features, only to brush it away, and gathering a breath she made her way down the hallway.

Matthew pulled his mug close to him - wrapping his spider-like fingers around it and taking in the warmth from the dark liquid. His eyes caught hold of her figure and he looked up, offering a lazy smile. "Hey," he greeted softly.
